Hi again!

'New' bike is going great generally, but; i have a couple of queries i can't find answers too.

First query. The ignition switch/key position - the bike will start on two key positions - one is about 8 o'clock, the other about 10 o'clock but only the 10 o'clock one allows me to turn the headlight on - and, if I start the bike in the 8 o'clock position I can't get the headlight to switch on at all - and, if i then turn the key to 10 o'clock with the bike running it cuts out. Is this normal?

Second query. The horn. It sucks sound wise! The horn on my bike looks non original compared to the horn advertised on the AN site. Also, drawings I've seen appear to show the horn mounted on the left of the bike near the air filter? Mine is mounted under the seat on the right hand side off the frame bracket that lies behind the oil filler cap. Is this normal? Can anyone post a picture of where their horn sits?

Thanks so much!

The 4th position clockwise is 'Ignition and lights' so the ignition should not cut out at that switch position (but would cut out if the key was turned to the 'Parking lights' position).

The original Lucas 9H horn would've been mounted on a bracket bolted to the underside of the battery tray.
