Ignition light MK 111 acting up .

I recall having communication from Mr. Blighe about his CWL and being told to always run resistor plugs or caps b/c the CWL module is susceptible to EMI and unsurppressed ignitions will damage it. Can't find that comment from him at the moment.
Anyone found this is a real issue on our bikes?

OK. I got a reply from Mr. Blighe to a query I sent earlier today on using ignition suppression...and yes he confirms this is stated on the fitting instruction sheet with his CWL kits. Reason is to avoid interfence with the microprocessor in the unit. EMI unlikely to damage it, but can lead to incorrect function of the warning light signals.
