I’m installing a ham can air cleaner and it won’t work with the way I have my ignition switch mounted. The way it was when I bought it wasn’t right either.

I see the bracket on ANs website and I’m sure I don’t have it.

Can someone shoot me a pic of how the ignition switch was originally mounted?

TIA.

The switch bracket should be attached (spot welded?) to the air filter backplate.

Does anyone make a bracket for when you don’t use the Ham Can for say a mikuni conversion?

Here is the bracket for your plastic air box (not ham can - see below): https://andover-norton.co.uk/en/shop-details/16252

Here is a bracket used on the Atlas, etc: https://andover-norton.co.uk/en/shop-details/20596

I will be using a single Mikuni on my rebuild as well so very interested in ignition switch placement, especially since I am right now at the best point to drill and install that item before I get much further. A search on alternate ignition locations gave me some good ideas. I really like drilling a hole in the battery tray assembly but have not figured out if I have the room for that approach.

That's the 850 Mk1A and Mk2A plastic airbox bracket.
