That there is still a small undercurrent of like-minded madmen, who create crop circles whenever the mood strikes!!!

At a parking area, on Applecross pass in Scotland, I saw "crop circles", and was comforted to know automotive hyjinx were alive & well
👊🏻😎🏁

When I were a wee lad on my Gixer 750, I did a (very noisy) doughnut on a petrol station forecourt that was directly opposite our local police station…

Just seemed like a good idea at the time 🤷‍♂️

Funny how that works....

I hung a mad wheelie on the XS1100 along the oceanfront touristy area in Hampton...
Just cuz... I could

When I was young, I had hotted up 650cc Triumphs. Everywhere I went with my mate was a road race. However I did not discover what real fun is until I did the real thing. With hot cars and bikes, they are often useless on public roads. If you drive around the roads around the back of our town, you will often see places where the kids have been destroying tyres. The sad thing is, in our town a car club owns the race circuit and insurance costs are prohibitive. If we had a more sensible approach to road safety, we would subsidise circuit racing, so the kids would actually learn to be safe at high speed. I recently had cataracts removed from both eyes. When I drive on a highway, I usually look about a kilometer ahead of the car, cataracts affect contrast. - A lot of people have been killed on our regional roads since Covid.

How many?

Well, I pulled a wheelie in my tractor, I had the cultivator set to run too deep, exciting stuff.

When I lived in NY and used to go to Perkins memorial drive in bear mountain state park on a weekend day, the young Jap bike hooligans were always there in force and they would tour the lookout parking lot full of a few hundred bikes of all make and era. They were always doing doughnuts and wheelies and riding really fast. You couldn't help but wonder how many of them would crash eventually. For any of them I talked to, I would say that the key to being an old biker is to "look good going slow" having crashed a bike at 25 and broken my hip socket...
