I am building my own wiring harness

I wouldn't trust that battery after it has been discharged as far as it has, and I believe your smart charger is doing what it is supposed to do. The technology in the battery tells a smart charger the LiFePO4 battery is dead at 3V. Not an expert, but I've had a similar situation with a cheaper LiFePO4 motorcycle battery. End result is that it was toast. I still use a LiFePO4 battery, but it's not a Shorai. Due to space constraints and very low battery power requirements on my version of Norton, I use a smaller battery than Shorai sells.

By the way the TriSpark MOSFET reg/rect gets along well with the LiFePO4 battery I'm using. There are better larger foot print choices for LiFePO4, but the TriSpark unit does work without seriously over charging the battery. It is very close to the upper edge of what is a good charge rate though, since it is not really designed for LiFePO4.

My apologies for the unsolicited babble.

Thumbs up for making your own new harness.

Thanks. I’ve been in touch with the suppliers and am waiting for a UPS ticket to get it returned, for Examination and report.
I have charged up my YTX14 lead acid battery and it is definitely man enough to whizz the starter over, so I may settle for a refund.
Harness making is still ongoing and doing its best to give me a proper headache. :)

Check Grant Tiller's site - he used to be a member here and has done many customer wiring diagrams as well as documenting stock diagrams.

Sorry, the headache is from realising that several of the wires have more than one end, they don’t just go from A to B, but also to C,D & E, and I want to be as economical as I can determining where to make my junctions. I’m adding in a slight bit of flexibility with the length as my existing harness is a tad tight in places and under a little bit of strain. Then I have beefed up the earth harnesses wire size to cater for a better circuit - plenty of extra wires.
No panic, I have a new Wassell/Lucas harness on for now which works with the CNW starter and coil.

I’m getting plenty of interruptions, but here’s some pics of my creation against the original I’m using to make a form of copy.

somehow I can only get the 1 picture on here. I am really struggling with the speed of the site, shouldn’t be me as I’ve got high speed fibre, and no issues on my own Motorhome forum. Any suggestions?

It looks like you're not using the correct image codes and the 'Media' tags you've added could also be causing problems.

It is every time I attempt to access the forum, first click gives me the advert, fair enough , second click and I’m sat waiting for sometimes a minute or more, or else it times out “can’t access server”

I and at least one other member have experienced the same or similar problem but for me, it doesn't happen all the time and doesn't usually continue for long and I don't have a very fast Internet connection.

On what device ?

On my iPad or iPhone I regularly have to do that double click and swipe routine to clear the history when wanting to access this site. Only seems to be necessary for this site, but I can get awful delays sometimes unless I do that.

I do all my browsing of this, and other, sites using my iPad Pro.
So, do you know what I mean about the double click and swipe routine? Double click the home button and you get a history in the form of small windows, swipe them to get rid of them and then try the site again. Worth a try. It works for me. My daughter taught me his

There’s no home button on the pro. Off at the top, and then volume up/down at the side. Everything else is touchscreen.
