I took a few days off this week to get some riding in. Well, I was suppose to work on my car but riding sounded more fun. Here's my ride from Tuesday. There are some spectacular roads just a few miles from the house. But I kept finding more so a few miles turned into a few hundred. It happens.

West of the Portland Metro area is still farmland and vineyards. There is still a little logging done but not much. But there is no shortage of fun roads. Here are a few of them...

There's a treat at the end if you make it that far.

Wonderful scenery. Thanks for posting that. What editing software are you using to add text?

I use iMovie.

The best thing about iMovie is the scrubbing feature, it lets be look at hours of video and find the slightly more interesting parts. Plus it posts nicely to YouTube.

How embarrassing on my part! I have a Mac with that program, but have never used it. Maybe I should get a camera for starters...

Wow,
Was that a silver/blue bevel head duck Supersport in the museum?
Schhhhwing!!!
Love to have one of those.

Great video.

what a mesmerizing waste of time, Ahhhh. I salute your braking sense on THE Grit and wisdom to hang to far edge to already usually be out the way. Very good audio fidelity to pick up the head clinking, like maybe ya know something eh. That is not nearly as noticed with a TS tank and fairing. I sent along to a few Norton and non Norton felllas to savor too. Hope ya eventually get time to make your tank match the rest of the color scheme :
I am working up nerve to cross THE Grit today on ho hum non Norton, while still damp not dry friction lubed.

Great video.

There is a pile of Ducatis in the collection. Green frame 750SS, 900SS, 750 Sport... and then a bunch of rubber band ones. I still don't know why he has the parallel twin in there.

The parallel twin model was the one that caused the split between Fabio Taglioni (father of the Ducati Desmo) and the Ducati factory. Taglioni hated the design, and insisted he would quit if Ducati built the bike. Ducati had the engine cheaply manufactured in Spain, to save money. True to form, Taglioni immediately quit.
End of an era.

You post and video inspired me to go for a longer than usual ride this morning.
No video, but here are a couple of pics:

Great bike tomspro, love the color.

It's a good thing some of us baby boomer are still working so you retirees can go out riding on Fridays.
