I certainly was well under 40 when I purchased my ‘72 750 Commando

just got in from 75mile enfield ride... hilight odf which was to pass filling station just as tanker pulled up

24 when I bought my 1974 850. 68 now. So it's been a time. These days the bike I ride most is a DR650 adventure bike. But the Commando gets out a bit too.

Wish I was one of the under 40s guys. Joints are a bit sore these days.

Only problem with being an under-40 guy is having to deal with that many years of life all over again... :(

BUT if I could remain my current age, including my expected expiration date, but have my body at 40, THAT would be a good deal! :)

Biological parts wearing out really sucks, but I believe to have catastrophic and total failure is least desirable.

I was 31/32 when I bought the P11 (over 32 years ago!)... Thing is, back then many Norton owners looked down their noses at the 'hybrids', definitely not a 'real' Norton :-( (park elsewhere, please...)

Whatever is wrong with that perception??;)

23 when I bought my '71 in '74, 65 when I bought my '72 in 2017... and 70 this year in November. Had my first real "off" a couple months ago, down in front of a couple deer, on my 2007 Aprilia Tuono 1000R that I sold a week later. (planning on selling it anyway) Just purchased a brand freakin' new BMW F900XR last week. Ride on!
