How many of the flood of nue bees are really Ae Eye fonies?

When I was in high school there were no such things as computers. There was a class where they taught you to put everything on an IBM card. Punching chads and all that stuff. and wrapping it on to a drum. In the 70's Texas instruments came out with a handheld calculator which you were not able t use in class. Luckily my father was an engineer, and designer and he took me to work every Saturday when I was in 8th grade. I had an 8th grade drafting class. I learned a lot. I didn't get my first computer until the early 1990's, about 1994. Anyway, whatever.
Drafting class! It was called mechanical drawing when I took it. Thinking back I remember the kids who didnt take it seriously or just didnt like it were the same assholes that excelled at sports and expected the rest of the school to bow to them. Funny how real life skills like communication ( which drafting and blueprinting are) take a backseat to meaningless school experience.

I read it the other day, it’s not fake according to AI… haha. It’s more confirmation of what AI can do, but it doesn’t concern me. While AI makes generating software apps easy, I don’t think it’ll replace all companies in the application layer because these companies won’t stand still, they will use AI to make their apps smarter and better for their customers keeping the space competitive. Those that don’t will die. If anything it enhances the ability for creative people to build apps that don’t have the technical skills and infrastructure required in the past. Lastly, there is more to running and supporting a commercial application than just the software.

Hey Rob, I did read through it real quick. Years ago, I took the Evelyn Woodhead Speed Reading Course. What's a handicap to me is, last week I knocked my glasses off the nightstand in the middle of the night while reaching for a bottle of water. I let you guess how I found them? That's right when I rolled out of bed and put my foot on the floor. Crunch. They were not just for reading. I'm lucky I had an old pair laying around. It was an old script, but at least I'm not walking around like Ray Charles. I'm awaiting a new eye exam and of course a new pair of glasses.

As far as opinions go, you know the old saying. Mine is AI is here to stay, but not proficient in all fields. I always tell the youngsters to pick up a trade. Use your hands and your head. Whether it's electrical, plumbing, mechanical, whatever. Adios Amigo

Does your continued silence on your posted article, despite my question of your opinion a couple of days ago, mean:
A) You haven't read it? or
B) You have no opinion? or
C) You just like rolling hand grenades?
Let's address a few things.
1) it wasn't a "big post", it was a link to an article. Big difference.
2) I read the entire thing.
3) I sure do have an opinion.
4) as for " rolling hand grenades", your dramatic way of accusing me of trolling? 🤡
I choose to not buy into your drama.
I asked you a simple question regarding the 1" of fork travel on your much pictured bike.
You got all defensive. 😿 I choose not to engage.
Jewelry cycles are a thing unto themselves, I don't participate.

Here's my response to you - where's the defensive bit? https://www.accessnorton.com/Norton...do-with-your-commando-today.33718/post-658466
