How long should I let the Yamabond 4 set up on the crank cases. I have seen the Wellseal sealant allowed to set up over night. Should the same be applied to the yamabond?

I also have Gasgacinch for the gear box. Is it a good practice to lightly smear this on all of the other gaskets in the engine for extra leak protection?

I give it about a minute, just enough to let it get slightly tacky; then bomb's away. Stuff is awesome; I swear by it. I think you'll be pleased with the results.

PS, no experience with Gasgacinch but I'd use the Yamabond for each and every application you were gonna use Gascacinch for....

I use Yamabond with my Yamaha race bikes but only when there is no gasket, Yamaha cases are assembled without gaskets and only Yamabond. Yamaha discourages the use of Yamabond in the few assemblies that have gaskets (on Yamaha engines). But, if it is useful in stopping leaks in Nortons with paper gaskets, without ill effects, it is a great idea. Never thought of using it on the Norton. Thanks.

I use it on all sorts of gaskets where you're not supposed to (don't let the airhead Beemer Weenies hear this) - it works wonders. Frickin' miracle drug. Also great where no gaskets but an o ring or the like that isn't QUITE up to its job...
