Hi Guys should a small amount of throttle be used when hot starting...or none at all???

Whatever works, I start the kick with the throttle closed and open just a bit as the kick finishes. But on my B44 I keep the throttle closed, B25 is slightly open before the kick. They have their foibles and like to be different.

Different, indeed. Mine wants a cracked throttle when hot, none when cold.

With Tri-Spark ignition and Premier carbs, I'm no throttle in any situation unless I think I've flooded it - then it's wide open. With old carbs and points, a little throttle once it fires. Opening the throttle defeats the pilot air screw - leans out the mixture. If throttle is needed, then the air screw is improperly adjusted IMHO.
