Hepolite piston rings, made in the USA !!!

I was told a year ago by a large britbike shop in the USA , that Wassell owned the Hepolite name & was making the pistons & rings in the orient, but the quality was excellent. I had no reason to doubt him as his shop is reputable & been around a long time. I was placing my orders with Wassell the other day (I am a Wassell dealer if anyone needs anything ) and noticed the description on a set of Hepolite piston rings:

The new Wassell "Hepolite" pistons are made by JCC and the current rings supplied with them are made by Hastings.
