Only a few hundred miles, but looks, feels MUCH better than the old Battlax.

Tyres for motorcycles have always been a problem . Most bikes went from 19 inch to 18 inch in the late 1960s. I have a bike which uses 17 inch. Fitting smaller wheels to get better rubber does not work very well. It can really stuff the handling.

I've always found tires on my motorcycles to be a good thing. Handling is not a problem for me because I am not a racer.

AMC went to 18" wheels on their heavyweight road models in 1963! The difference in tire circumference is generally quite small.
