John,

I'm sure many here would be interested, but the image you provides is not working. Please try again.

John,

You need to upload the Photos to your Photobucket album, and then copy and paste the IMG code of each individual photo into your message. You did manage it once (in the For Sale section) so I'm sure you can probably do it again? If you can't work it out, but you know how to attach them to an email, please send me a PM or email and I will reply with my email address so you can send the photos to me, as I can then add them into your message.

hi the only thing is i do not know what i did the 1st time and computers are not my thing making parts i understand and fixing old parts john

John sent me the photos, and there are rather a lot, so I've set them up as a Photobucket slideshow.

Dead link deleted.

Where are you located? Hogwarts? Looks to me like you have a bit of wizard in ya.

I've always wondered about longer kickstarters...

I realize that a longer lever makes it easier to push but it also reduces the rotation internally. So does the "easier" kicking actually result in easier starting or is it more likely that you will have to do it a couple of times?

At the moment I don't have any trouble kick starting the bike but planning ahead is never a bad thing! ;)

Nice items John. Your tail light housings look better than what's out there elsewhere for pre '73 beehive lens. I'd be down for 1.
Back in the seventies, Dunstall offered a longer kickstart lever. I bought one after I shaved the head of my '71 750 to go to 10:1 like Combats. It makes a noticeable difference kicking it over, but it will contact the tarmac if you're not on the center stand. Something most '71 owners are left with after the side stand mount allows you to lose the stand somewhere along the way........ Shoudn't be a problem with the rest of the years with center or side stands, just something to be aware of when you stall in traffic, arrghhh
The MKIII lever isn't longer, it just doesn't hit the muffler.

hi don thay do not hit the ground and etch one is made up to fit the bike it is going on so there is not that problem john

Seems this fellow John has not been active on this site in some 7 years.... Maybe another member here might have his contact info??

John "Ironjohn" Epp's website is down as well. Hope he's alive and well. I traded with him around 2012. Not the easiest man to deal with, but his craftsmanship was very good. His e-mail address is/was: toold2care@yahoo.ca

Used to see him at our local swap meets, but not for a few years now.
