Halos (Clementines)

For those in the US, the Halos season is basically Oct - Feb. They are available most of the year, but start being pretty crappy in the spring and it takes a while for the new fall crop to be in stores. Just this week I bought some at the local grocery store and they are definitely selling this season's crop now. By around mid- to late-Dec they will be at their best. I'm guessing that those on the west coast have had good ones for about a month.

They are my favorite snack so I'm happy they are back!
