Going to need a new cam.

I’m looking for a new stock cam for a ‘71 750. I’ve seen mention of Andover Norton, RGM, Newman and JS Racing as providers of camshafts on this site. Looking at the various websites for pricing, RGM 170 pounds, Newman 205 chilled/255 billet. Andover is at 419. The JS stuff looks top notch but probably overkill for what I’m doing. Any reason the AN cam is double the Newman and RGM cams? I’ve seen concerns regarding orders from RGM. Is that still an issue? Will any standard cam work with the timed breather?

As an aside from the quality/price of cams, I would strongly recommend ditching the timed breather through the cam and go for the larger sump plug reed breather - waaayyy better!
