Gearbox ID help

Can somebody help me ID the gearbox in the top position of this picture below? There's a standard on below it. Found this on craigslist and I've never seen one of these before. Thought it might have been an RGM box but I don't have a clue:

Looks to be either a RGM or quaife reinforced box. Are you going to buy it? If not I would be interested. Along with the line that will form after me.

Does Quaife have anything stamped on their gears? Any identifying marks?

Yep Quaife reinforced gearbox shell. Also made by RGM, fairspares etc.
Yes Quaife gears are numbered.
I have a few references.

Looks exactly like the Quaife sold me to put into Peel. I've ground the ribs down for shiny flats then paint the rest black. May have to grind DS end if not the cradle to get it fully inside cradle.

Working out a package deal with him on some other bits I need. Does anybody know how to identify the gears that may have came with this box?

Hi,

Quaife gears normally have AxAx xx stamped on them, e.g. A3A3 05, but there are a lot of different numbers, sometimes even for the same type of gear.

If you count the number of teeth you can identify which kind of Quaife gear set it is.
