Gas cap

Any way to check tank cap breather. Also where can I get a new fuse holder set up.this bike is driving me crazy. Thx.

Ha. Simply pop open the cap and let it run a bit. Obviously don't let gas splash out so lower level or mid. Runs good ? O.k. Now close the cap and go for a ride. Sputterings would be a clue.
Glass type fuses are still out there in a world of blade type now. Your choice. Glass American ratings are different than original Brit. ones. 17.5 vs. equivalent original Brit 35 A.

My bike came with an auto reseting fuse...small metal casing like the stock flasher relay shape/size. After it tripped a few times I got tried to trying to figure out why the lights went out before testing the fuse. It resets after it cools off...but no visible clue it's off.
Replaced with an in line blade type fuse holder with a neat LED which comes on when the fuse is blown...even stays on a minute or so after disconnecting the battery...really handy to tell it's blown at a glance.
Was $5 at Princess Auto (Canuck Harbor Freight type store).
