Have any G15 owners installed a Norvil Belt Drive Clutch on their G15? I know AgentX installed a Newby belt drive, and wondered if the Norvil parts are just a big a PITA to install. Les at Norvil says it fits straight in. I seriously doubt his idea of straight in and mine are the same. Modifying both the inner and outer primary covers and furring out the outer primary is not straight in. It's BS.

Just curious. I've talked myself out of attempting the install more times than I can count, but the outer primary is off right now and I got to thinking about it again.

I have.
But instead of spacing out the std primary case, I modified a Commando case:
Shorter, narrower.. mainly because access to the clutch is now a one-minute job:
Only one bolt instead of many.
The std Commando case looked too bulky to me.
The clutch basket is also narrowed, from 40 mm to 32 mm.
Commando main shaft.
Only last month I replaced the front pulley, after 75000 km.

Nice, One bolt instead of many. :)

In addition to shortening the primary case, that is a Commando engine in a G15 frame as well, isn't it? No breather off the cam, and the serial number pad on the crank case doesn't look G15. It doesn't look like any G15 I've seen images of.

I had a feeling Les at Norvil telling me it would "fit straight in" was more BS.

Thanks for the info. It convinced me I'm not up for putting that much time into fixing something that isn't broken. It's not that hard to wipe a few drops of oil off the garage floor and the bottom of the primary after a ride.
