fuel fix "fitch fuel catalyst"

Hello,
has anyone heard anything positive or negative about a fuel fix called the "fitch fuel catalyst" a one time product you place in your gas tank to enhance performance and prevent fuel degradation. Heard about this from a friend. After reading about it I thought wow this product sounds pretty cool. So ya if anyone has info or better still installed this unit do tell.

I've seen the ads a long time and they make catalytic sense but no real data beyond that. I am scratching at straws to whip some sport bike ass with Ms Peel so was going to try it with monitoring to see if less detonation on pump gas. HD catalogs are where I come across drop in octane tablets or drop in catalysts. HD are Nortons closest relatives now.
 
Been discussed/debated on a number of boards, mostly HD. Consensus is "snake oil."
 
I'm half ass chemist and metal catalyst makes sense, just don't know how much its worth. Even a few octane points might reduce Ms Peel's need to inject water on non tire wasting normal throttle use. I'll contact the makers for pointers and proof. Might just make gasoline dissolve the Caswell epoxy coated fiberglass IS tank faster, ugh.

Inline units runs like $2-300 while in tank ~$50. The mileage testimony is sure tempting on my daily cage.

Dave, as you must know, you can improve fuel economy 100% by using fuel additives, a 50/50 mix of Marvel Mystery Oil and Slick 50 in the crankcase and finned valve covers. The engine will also last for your lifetime. Not sure why these techniques are not universally accepted.

Hm, I love it, Ms Peel must have magnetic rings on gas hose as well as sump plug and a catalyst in the tank, hm with enough of em in there they'd both act as slosh baffle and make enough extra fuel I could share it with others. Actually before ya commit firm judgments Universities have found fuel mileage increase in both magnetic fuel flow and by electrostatic fields and magnets on tissue healing to boot. I don't know what is so strange about catalyst as that's well used to convert hydrocarbons and other organics. Question really is how much catalyst to get a benefit and how long it takes and how long the catalyst lasts. Might learn what these catalyst are actually catalyzing and then spike the fuel with their favorite fuel compounds.

I'm trying to find that post where the guy figured out how make his Norton run on water.

I think the government has deleted it.......
 
Well if they cite documents with titles like
Metamagnetic phase transition of the antiferromagnetic Heisenberg icosahedron
And have names like
Christian Schröder, Heinz-Jürgen Schmidt , Jürgen Schnack and Marshall Luban
and can put quotes like these in their webpages

That's interesting, but I would like to see these tests performed with infinite temperatures to ensure the decagon-family phase decay values remain constant.

Somewhere on this forum someone recommended 1 part Lucas octane booster, 1 part Lead substitue, and 1 part marine Stabil. I have been adding 10 ml of each per 2 gal gas.
I really feel that there has been an improvement in performance. I am on about the fourth tankful, I will try a tankful or two without soon to see if I am really feeling results.

Its fun to brew up your own fuel mixes. Might get some BeanOil at cycle shops and put a small dash in to get a bit of the ole race track aroma. There are other odors that racers add to fuel too, grape is very popular at the dirt track events. Will have to ask manufacturer what might poison or clog Peel's in tank catalyst of course.
 
The Entabulator's "reciprocating dingle arm" sounds promising, will it fit in the gear box shell is a good question.
 
Mumbled 'snake oil' before reading anything. Did some homework last week; Talked at legnth to a tech guy from Sonoco. Color purple 110 octane is just fine. Works in everything ( incl FG)and is not all that hateful to afford (under $8) Second choice, if you have upgraded to no lead hardware is the 260GTX, won't hurt a FG tank and the same price range. A little tamer at 98 octane, he explained that that was the NASCAR fuel of two years ago.

Tom i saw old Sonoco signs but no stations. Besides the magnetic fuel zapper and couple catalysts doing double duty in Ms Peels tank, I'll be hedging detonation bets on first dial ins with 112 octane the garden tractor pull guys keep on hand here.

I got a good bit of basic science schooling into phD chemisty level which is quantum level electron orbital calculating combined with solid state to plasma physics and beams of both paritcle and wave in electric and mag flux fields.
i ain't selling nothing so just fascinating fun to try to follow the logic or new phenomena claimed or demo'd. During one era in my life I followed free energy device guys around the USa and was able to find the fraud in each one. Only Brown gas was valid but thats just H2/O2 from electrolysis recombined for heat, chemical redux or oxidize and a vacuum or HUGE kaBOOMs in garbage bag implosions.

Oh shoot it don't really run on liquid water any more than our bikes run on liq. gasoline, its said to run on thermal dissociated plasma from water and air molecules.
Ain't tried it myself - yet.
