Hello,

I have had a hard time putting in a mk3 front isolastic mount in my 73 850. The only way I could get it to fit is to have the adjuster on the left side. In the manual it show that is should be on the right will this be a problem?

The whole engine will be misaligned if not by the book.

Me too (on the "hard time" part). I really hadda ram it in there. Thought I was gonna need a frame stretcher to push the down tubes apart enough to get it in. But, eventually, and with much bluing of the air, I did. Keep at it!

If you are putting Mk3 Iso's in a pre-Mk-3 front mount, you must cut the tube down so both sides extend 1/4" from the mounting flange. Alternatively you can use the special conversion kit available from Norvil and others that does not require cutting the front mount.

I used a Mk 3 mount on a Mk 1, but still had to ram that sucker in there.
