My friend has a John Tickle twin leading shoe brake in a Norton front hub. This is fitted in a Triton which was built sometime before 1969. He stripped the hub for polishing and fitting new rim and spokes a couple of years ago as part of a long term rebuild project.
Unfortunately as is way of such long long term projects he now cannot find the bearing spacers and other parts to reassemble the hub. He does have what appears to be the parts but they are not in good condition and could do with replacing.
My Commando parts book lists the parts for the twin leading shoe brake hub as fitted to the Commando but are these the same items and assembled in the same order on the earlier hubs?

I'm pretty sure the hubs and detailed parts are the same. If you use sealed bearings you don't have to fit the felt washers and steel washers designed for keeping the grease in, the dust covers can be bought new.
