Does anyone know the outer and inner length for the front brake cable on a 1969 Commando with semi western bars, part # 061041, I get it to roughly 38'' outer, thanks David
I'm lucky there's a guy up the road that makes cables, throttle, clutch, brake ect.Neither Venhill cable worked for me. In fact I'm still searching, hard to find without the stupid switch. If you come up with anything, PLEASE update here. I've switched to Euro bars in the meantime.
I ordered the standard length, 56" if I recall correctly but found it too long looping over the instruments.
Yep did the same works a treat.I got mine from Joe Seifert Norton Motors or Andover Norton in the correct lenght without brake light switch. Installed a micro switch under the brake lever.
My parts book lists the 'S' front brake cable with stop switch as 061076.
Far as I know the 'S' was only made for the US and thus was the 'Export' model.?
Probably because of the 'Western (Export) Bars' too.
