Strikes an emotional chord with me. I noticed that Jack Findlay had a win in the 250 GP on an FB Mondial. Must have just been around the time that the TD1A arrived and changed everything ? It was a time in my childhood when I should have moved on and started racing two strokes .
I was the same as you, I raced in four stroke production and open class for years until I purchased a TZ350 (long after they had ceased production) and started beating a lot of up to 1000cc bikes in the open class. But I was really ten years too late when I had got that bike. Still, I had a great time on the tracks.
