Fork seal holder removal

Hi all.

I am having issues removing the for seals holders/caps from my roadholders (standard atlas forks)

I have tried a strap wrench, hose clamp, heat, swearing etc to unscrew the seal holders from the forks but to no avail.

Any tips?
 
I normally grip the holder itself, or the collar if it's a Commando, in a large vise, then heat the fork leg up around the threaded area, I then use an axle in the lower hole to turn the whole assembly off the holder.
 
I got it in the end. Previous owner thought locktite would be a good idea.

Held in a vice at the axel flats, 2 ft pipe wrench and an oxy flame
