Remind us what bike this is, we are not all clairvoyants here  :D

And not all roadholders are the same....


The upper bronze bushes slip into the top of the alloy fork slider, and have a flange so they can't go anywhere.

The fork seals sit on top of them, and the little tin fork covers screw down on top of them to hold them in.

Maybe your forks didn't come with those bits ?


The pitting on the dampers won't affect them, as long as they are not rusted through,

or so rusted inside their function has been affected.
