Forget the V4 - New Crighton CR700W

In the photo it looks much like a number of other new sporty bikes, maybe Ducati the most.


With that amount of money one could build a few really interesting one off bikes.
If exclusivity is important, with the one-off you have 1 of 1, the only one in the world. Perhaps not the greatest investment though, although I'm not sure the Crighton would be either.
Also, and far more importantly, you can build it to fit your aging body!

I stood at Handleys at the TT in 1989 as the bikes came off the mountain. Hislop went flying through on the RVF - he barely backed off the throttle for the corner ---jeez o_O, then the two Nortons ridden by Nation and Cull came down together on the road, howling and spitting flame in unison. I can remember it as if it was yesterday.
