I'm thinking of fitting a small fly screen to my Mk3 and there's a lot of them out there, but which one. Has anyone got any ideas and experience they could pass on?

Thanks in advance,
Cash

I've heard the ones for the new triumph bonnevilles work well, but when I went to the triumph site I didn't see them.

I think 'Dart' flyscreens are quite popular in the UK at the moment, but the fitting kits are only available to suit certain models of motorcycle (Hinckley Triumphs, Ducatis, etc.) so you would probably have to make up your own screen fittings?:

I hate when all those flies stick to your faceshield. Do those flyscreens serve any real purpose other than looking cafe-ish?

They didn't call them flyscreens for nuffin'!!

Steve Dale has made some for me. they work out well.
Fly Screen

It includes brackets that use the headlight mounts and all stainless hardware. Some Mark three's are converted High Riders with the small headlights and that is a different pattern. Steve's email is britgaskets@shaw.ca

He also made me a nice plate for the backside.

These are the brackets. I have some in stock if you don't like waiting. PM me.

Norbsa, I bought one of those. I'd be into a set of those brackets so PM me the details. When you mention brackets are thinking headlight brackets or brackets holding the fly screen to the headlight mount bolts? I'm interested in the later as I didn't get brackets like that (right angled piece) with my fly screen.

I figured the poster was after the type of screen or mini fairing that wrap around the headlight.

Go to Airtech Streamlining.com and you will see a great variety of fairings for vintage and new machines, some of the folks on the New Triumph Bonneville Forum are fitting these and they are quite nice.

Although a vast majority don't come with the windscreen.
