First ride since November

60 degrees today so I fired the 850 up for the first time in four months. Back in November when the weather went bad I drained the carbs, filled the tank with ethanol-free premium, and parked it. Today I charged the battery, drained the sump, refilled the tank, and kicked.

Started First Kick!

I took it out for a nice long ride and it ran great. Ethanol-free fuel really does work better.

It felt great to be riding a Norton again!

Ditto on the Ethanol-Free gas Debby. Put it in my Norton mixed with a little 110 Octane Racing Fuel. Noticed it runs better than with 10% Ethanol mixed unleaded fuel that I used to use. I also use Ethanol-Free gas only in my riding lawnmower and it was a vast improvement. Glad to hear you had trouble free ride. Still cold here in Michigan.

Ya broke the bike out for a ride today also, 80 degrees today. Looks and feels like summer already!

Oh Debby, you are killin' me. I think 60 was our 3 day total here in Vermont. Enjoy that bike!

60 degrees here today, I took my bike out for the first ride of the year.
71 miles, no problems.
after spending the past few days messing with it, (primary tensioner issues, sticking clutch, front master cylinder leak),
it was good to get on it and ride
