BB King's blues on Sirius.
Any midwesterners remember Larry Lujack on WLS out of Chicago?

Time Warp.

I remember when I was a teenager living in Taiwan in '57-58 I would listen to the great jazz artists, mostly 'West Coast Jazz' as it's now labeled. I had to listen to it on shortwave, VOA, so it was not streaming by any means, but it was so good. Then when I was in Berlin in the 60's Monk visited and we saw his performances live, great stuff. I've got to checkout some of these streams, I really don't like the XM jazz stuff I get so mostly the wive listens to the 40's stuff. Maybe it's Pandora time? But I have satellite ISP, so I have a 10GB monthly limit.

Thanks for the links, guys, I need to get up with the times.

When I was in college in the UK, (1962, I think) one of my class-mates came in one Monday morning and told us about a group they'd had play at their church youth club the previous Saturday. He said they'd agreed to come back the following Saturday for a return engagement and we should all go, they were SOOO good!.

Two days later, a Manchester local TV station's evening magazine show featured a new group out of Liverpool called "The Beatles". My classmate came in the next morning and said "Forget that group i told you about, They were on telly last night and have gone down to London to sign a recording contract".

Enjoy Sirius Radio and Classicall music on CDs. For the last 16 years have always had 3 rescue dogs in the house. The latest additon is an 80 lb Standard Poodle. Good for you Rwalker, lots of dogs out there that need good homes.
