Depends on what the buyer is willing to pay. That's about it, there are no rules.

The 68 had a defective frame and so as a matching numbers bike, they are not for riding but looking at. The rest of them have fiberglass tanks which is also a problem. While I think they look spectacular these are things that would actually devalue them for me.

828 c.c. in 1974. Earlier Fastback models 749 c.c. ,Fastback IMO the sexiest bike ever produced.

I kind of liked the later FB, with the upswept peashooters, Toronto. If I did another I think it would be that one.

fastback value?

Great lines on the FB, love the tank. I like the Roadster tank, but love the FB tank. If I had known when I first bought mine in 72, I'd probably have looked for one, but I was ignorant and young then. Or is that young and ignorant?

No. Just young.
Hey I was in a small country town when I got mine, and the only other three local bikes were a
125 Yammy Trail bike, an A10 BSA and a 500 AJS single.
I went straight to to the head of the class, even stole a girlfriend off a bloke with a car.!
I took her to the Drive-in that night.
hehehe.
Invalueable memories.
AC.

Opinions vary. I got all the parts and turned my roadster into a '72 fastback a few years back. What I found is I prefer the roadster and sold all the fastback parts. Upside is the RK Leighton fastback seat was more comfortable than a roadster. Downside is there is no steel fastback tank and we know what happens to fiberglass tanks.

on your bike AC ??? where did you hang the michrophone...

Yep, on the bike.
Barrossaline Drive in, Tanunda. 1971.
Pillow strapped to the handle bars, back row.
My mate Bazz, who rebiult this engine (current bike), had panniers which would hold the old "half a dozen."
There we'd be, the local bikies, 125 Yammy, 500 Ajay, Beeza A10 and a Commando, lurking up the back row, trying to talk
the girls into not being shy.
"Come on, don't be shy, no one can see"
heheheheheheheh.
