I was looking at some of the bits I have in the workshop the other day and I came across the Fastback seat unit I have.
One thing that has rather bothered me is the way in which the rear of the seat pan sticks out pastthe fiberglass tail hump. It always makes me thing that someone designed it for a very wide bum
This is not an original unit, but on Norvil's repro items, which may or may not have any bearing on the matter.
It does not seem to be that big a job to trim it down so that it's flush with the tailpiece - has anyone done this before?
I'll have to modify the pan anyway, since the alloy Fastback copy tank I have (not an Indian one!) is too wide for the ears on the seat, so it all looks a bit odd at the moment.
