Anyone modified a fastback taillight to fit a non-fastback? The fastback light looks way cooler slightly rounded edges with the beehive sticking out. I'd like to figure out a way to make this happen on my 73 and welcome any suggestions. I wonder if it is possible to modify the standard square bracket to make it fit. Someone has to have had this idea before me but i cant find it in a search. Any info appreciated. My bike came with a dunstall rear but i hate it and have been told its a generic, non-commando specific dunstall seat anyway. So it's going in the round file and i'm gonna do some kind of manx thing. I think the fastback light would look great. got the rear fender today (not pictured) next project is mounting everything and figuring out the light.

A stock '71-'72 Lucas L679 (beehive) tail light will bolt to a stock Commando fender (roadster or Interstate). Buy one on ebay and you're done.

On an 850 it will slope slightly downward, not as visually pleasing as the 750 horizontal. Its fixable.
