MikeG on the board here had one on his bike when he bought it. My opinion is it was an ill fitting piece of poorly engineered shit. It hit the frame in a couple places. Maybe they've improved them...
Maybe he'll chime in.
Back in the day, we regarded MAC as Wal-Mart quality level, ( price too!)

I have a MAC 2-1 on my 75 XS650. I got it cheap, $50, it fits well, but the sound is very raspy.
I don't know about the fit on a Norton, but if it's cheap enough it will at least function as an exhaust.
 
They should sell those exhausts as part of a race kit along with Harley springer forks, and camshafts with a Fordson tractor grind.

Yup, my bud had one on his T140 for years, worked good. The rubber Commando seemed elusive.
