Hi again guys, I finally put to bed the oil pressure issue.

My bike 75 mk 3(although it seems to run quite smoothly) doesnt pull as hard as it should. I have another 75 mk 3 which is much stronger in the middle around 1/2 throttle. both have boyer ign. and 36mm mikuni carbs. I tried moving the needle up and down but I think its correct where it is as the plugs look good. Other than that the motor in both bikes is stock. The only other difference is on the new one the exhaust is an 1 5/8 tt pipes. could that change the backpressure and make it weak in the middle?

Thanks again

Mark

I did read something about annular discharge silencers needing a balance pipe to work properly, whereas peashooters are not fussy. I dont know what set up you have. If you think exhausts may be the difference, it is not too hard to swap them. How about engine condition compression etc?

Its kind of a pain because I made my own footpeg hangers that wont accept muffler brackets and then there is the rear brake thing. I wish I could simply swap them out.
