I would think common sense is sufficient to know the sun is the dominant factor regarding the earth's temperature. Sad .......

Even if it was a fossil fuelled car that set it off, if it then resulted in an adjacent EV to go alight then it became uncontrollable. And on the insurance you can bet the fossil fuel insurance increase is partly due to EV's too, if you crash into one with your fossil fuelled car then the higher repair costs are on your policy, the more EV's around the higher the probability you will hit one so the higher the premiums for everyone regardless of how its fuelled. The law of unintended consequences strikes again. Just waiting for someone to suggest a Govt subsidy for EV car insurance to help adoption.

Let's not forget the rules for ev storage after a road traffic accident were changed in July this year
EV vehicles awaiting repair have to be stored outside
And 15m away from all other vehicles or buildings
Using up god knows how much storage space!!,this will have an impact on all our insurance bills
 
Article in today's Telegraph quotes a firefighter saying they thought the car park fire was started by a diesel vehicle.

Curious about the bus fire, was that an electric vehicle or a diesel / electric hybrid? Think that in future I will avoid the top deck when on a bus.

I've been doing this on my old nails to avoid the charge
But winter is on its way now so at some stage I'll have to part with a perfectly good running car for one that's compliant!!!
It won't be an EV that's for sure

We have a 40 year rolling historic vehicle classification
That means any vehicle over 40 years is exempt from MOT road tax and ulez charges
But if you have a motorcycle that's not 40 years old
But is too old to comply to the ulez standard then for £180 you can have your bike tested for emissions and certified if it passed for exemption
