Please could you knowledgable lot take a look at these pictures of some engine plates I have in a box of bits with my 54 Triton and shed some light on what they could be for.
Engine/box plate identification.

The set on the left I think are for a Dommie? They have Converta Equipment stamped in.
The other set has just Converta stamped in, the engine end lines up with my pre unit triumph motor.

As you may see I'm trying to learn more about the parts. I've got several period bits some I'm keeping some I'll need to trade for the bits I'm after to get the bike back on the road. Help much appreciated.

Pretty sure the ones on the right of your picture are pre unit Triton plates. I think I'm correct in saying they will fit pre unit 650 or 500 Triumph motors I to a featherbed frame, slimline or wideline.

The plates on my Triton look like that. Can't be more exact than "look like."

I use a 1955 Pre-unit 650 engine and gearbox. I recognise the hole for the drive side footrest and Primary case rod and the slot and hole for the gearbox upper mount and primary chain adjuster.

Probably short chaincase, like mine. Most of them are.
