Electric bike

Prettiest electric design so far. Novelty items now but when fuel cells and super capascitors come of age, they will rule the road. About a decade ago I read a short story on a fella dropping off his monitored central police controlled electric car to sneak into a barn with contra ban gasoline and taking a vintage motorcycle for joy ride in woods and fields.

When the elictrical turkeys realise they need to standardise batteries and have exchange fuel stations ,theyll have unlimited range.None of this rechargeing inanity , stop & Go . :mrgreen: (pat.applied for ! :p )
 
1/10 on the interest meter. Just don't see the point of 'lectric bikes. Why not focus efforts on making road clogging, fuel guzzling 4WDs more efficient? Ok, maybe some use as research vehicles but beyond that? Why bother? Better would be to reduce embedded energy use by not buying a new vehicle and maintaining an older one, especially one that gives very good economy. Hmmm... wonder where you'd find such a beast?
