Just to remove confusion....all the ecu's fitted by Norton, in their chronological order.
Many SC equipped bikes were retro fitted with an Omex 630, via a patch harness. So Ive not given any ecu dates, always visually confirm what ecu you have. This is just an image showing which ecu is which.
If trying to connect to Omex 600, you can still use MAP4000 from Omex, but you'll be prompted for a password. The standard Norton password was rF4K5i.

So is the Euro 4 actually the 710 then?

Thats great info. Many thanks Stu!

Thanks Stu brilliant clarification; there is a lot of confusion over these which am trying to wade through - I am trying to connect to my Euro4 with MAP4000 but getting rx data errors. I am using the Omex recommended usb/rs232 interface and I can see the ECU responding with a data stream on a 'scope.

So was MAP4000 / rs232 definitely used with the Euro4 not a iso 15765/9141/14230 can-bus connection?

It does not follow obd2 protocols, and yes it uses map4000
