Looks like my steel tank paintjob ,rather thickly applied is now a trainwreck. Also kreem kote interior liner is toast. Remove it all somehow ? - or hand the dirty deed to someone else ? In Toronto. Peter n' Crazy. B.T.W. -15 Celcius outside the window 2night. brrrr.

Thankyou Dog T., am aware of his services and if I strip the tank and find filler in dents then I will contact. Bruce Chessell once told me there was a company that dips items into a stripper tank. Tech strip comes out of my foggy memory just now,was at a Niagara rally imbibing. Once in Thailand I found a whole neighbourhood of stripper - paint shops servicing Hardley Davidson peoples who send items there to avoid tight enviromental protection laws in their first world countrys. Chroming and plating shops too ,on a river. Off to India to research left-side driving on rented Royal Enfields in a few hours so will research enviromental protection there too -ha-ha.

Fill the tank with a big box of drywall screws (pointy things) and shake until the kreem flakes fall out. Rinse with acetone. Then take the tank to a sand blaster. Rinse again, thouroughly. Well worth the money to get every crumb of bondo and old paint off. A painter needs to see the ugly truth.

Thanks 850, looks like I will be going to Renu in Orangeville come spring to talk with them,I go there all the time anyways to trout fish. Off to India - Nepal now.
