Easy fit Brake caliper alternatives?

Hi all,
Been having some issues with Lockheed Brake Calipers recently. I bled the front brake recently as it was very, very spongy and it was a lot better after but made the error of noticing the bleed screw was weeping a little so tighened it a little more and it snapped. It then became a fatal error after the 'easy-out' screw remover snapped off. Anyway, no engineering firm locally would touch it and I then sent it away to a professional caliper refurb company (5 star rated, in business for decades) and they couldn't remove it. So, I've sent my spare caliper to them today which leaks and now praying they can refurb this one. But if that fails then...

My question is, has anyone found an affordable, well functioning, common brake caliper that works with the standard brake disc and minimal modifications to make it fit?

The 5 star refurb company is not 5 star when a simple drill out to next size and tap for a suitable nipple did not enter their thoughts.

There are no straight swaps, nearest is the Lockheed racing caliper that needs an adapter plate bolted to the fork lower and the caliper bolts to that.

Look for local shop with EDM .
Should be straight forward removal.
