Early Commando Shocks

Does anyone have any leads on some NOS or Girling replica shocks for an early commando (1968-69). These are the ones with the chrome shrouds on top. Thanks

NJB make a replica shock that is pretty close to the original Girling. Clubman Racing carries them.

I don't know much if anything about shocks but what about the Hagon " Classic " series? hagonshocksusa.com are they close?

Just bought a pair like this on eBay.. Already having buyer's remorse, but I *do* love the look.. Not sure on the manufacturer of the ones I bought. I sure hope they aren't Emgo for what I paid. Serves me right for not consulting the forum first. Bleh.

My "Commando" shocks arrived and they aren't the right parts. The mounts aren't flush with the eye holes on the top and bottom and that causes them to not fit into the mounts like they should. I told the guy he can have them back if he doesn't want to knock something off the price (I'll have to trim the excess away to make them sit flush like they're supposed to).

If I send them back, I'm ordering from Clubman.. Be careful what you buy--make sure it's the right thing first. I didn't. :|
