DVLA Contact Number
interesting that it says dear sir/madam, not your name.....View attachment 11297 View attachment 11295 View attachment 11294 Received this today from the postie, flaming cheek, dated last Wednesday when I rode 110 miles, traveled on M2/M20 motorway so guessing it’s a ANPR camera has clocked me , now here’s the thing ,I have of course got insurance , phoned them up & they said the dvla can ring if they like & the Government s dvla system is truly flawed ! ,right back to preparing my defence now, another letter, if I’d been away for a few months & not been aware of it ,then bailiffs would be wanting more than a ride on it.
Anyone else had bovver?
Thanks L.A.B.
Never knew the penalty for no insurance was so low!

Let common sense prevail, but trouble with common sense is.............it ain’t very common,u are of course correct saying logic etc apply , but the girl on the other end of blower is a robot for dvla, awful people to deal with , look out for me on “ Here come the Sheriffs “ , Dvla, motor insurance data base & insurance company all blaming each other ATMYou are legally responsible to be insured.
As far as I know, you are not legally responsible for the DVLA database.
If you can prove you were insured, then you were not uninsured, and have broken no laws, so are not liable for payment of anything related.
I’m only applying logic to this though, not legal process knowledge...
