Dunstall type exhaust system

Does the Dunstall exhaust system ie 2 into 1 into 2 actually improve performance, by that I mean power, not noise.If so where in the rev range ? and on a pretty stock motor.

Somewhere I and others have posted the quotes of Dunstalls testing in his Tuning manual you can buy. In mean time here's some forum feedback on 2-1-2. Your question can not be answered w/o all sorts of other information Dunstall covers in his booklet. Y type headers are known to help lower power band w/o hurting or necessarily adding to top end, but Boy Howdy some sure can.
