Hi , I have a pair of new Dunstall pistons , 10/1 which protrude too much into the combustion chamber , and the piston hit the head at the squish band , is it advisable to turn them down 1mm (this head should have been milled down to replicate the Combat one ), or have I better to sell them and buy a pair of 9/1 pistons (JCC?), that's for an Atlas , easy bike , not a racer ........??

I would buy the JCC pistons and then use at least a .040 base shim . An Atlas will be happiest around 8 to 1. Jim
