It's not hard to repair or reinforce fiberglass. When I got my fairing it was missing a wing, which I made the mold for and repaired. Scuff it, polyester resin, fiberglass cloth, strong as a bull. The hard work is making the forms, not scuffing old glass and laying up some new cloth, then painting a few coats of polyester over it. If you want some technical help just shoot me a message. There's always a trick or two... but it's not hard to do.

Save your $$ for more spray paint!!:D
Or have you settled on white?
Hey Pete,
I’m getting pumped about my Commando again! It’s back in the shop. I had it under a sheet in the garage for a while.

I’m still thinking white. I bought some of that Spraymax 2K ebony primer. That stuff is amazing. Going to begin the wet sanding again. And paint it white. The red is nice, but I’m going for something that “resembles” something. This will be very similar to the Norman racer

Thanks for the offer. I’ve done a little fiberglassing, still learning but not terrible. I have some resin and cloth in the shop so I’m going to strengthen the fairing and the seat some. Smelly stuff.
