Drum to Disc brakes.

I am trying to find out if the fork sliders on a Norton 850 commandos left side are the same from disc to drum brakes.
So if I wonted to install disc brakes on a commando that has drum brakes will I have to buy both sides sliders or just the right side with the caliper mount ????????

Left side is the same. The right side is different for drums and discs.

Both sliders are different (beefier and with an oval section on the disk brake version). But if you accept that the right and left sliders don't look exactly the same, you can keep the left hand one as it is and install only the right one with its caliper-specific mounts.
