They were not equal so I used the method recommended by Slick in his K2F magneto thread - dutifully ground and packed the cam ring so that gaps were equal.
The sore point is that I've been thinking that this may not have been necessary with a straight shaft. Once the shaft is straight may have to redo

Even with a straight shaft - you may run into problems as my comments where on the now closed ;

It seems the guy has decided to systematically decided to delete nearly ALL my and other posts on the K2F magneto that we wrote about Sight :!: :roll:
The Lucas cam ring may not be accurate –a new one I brought in the 1970s was 4 1/2 degrees out when clocked on a milling machine dividing head so don’t be surprised if yours is much better.
