Not a big deal, but the times shown on the forum pages that are based on UTC don't show what most members are using. Most states still switch to Daylight Saving Time, as does the UK. UTC never changes for DST.

I've always been mystified that it sometimes shows my local time, + one hour.
And sometimes shows UTC or maybe USA time of some sort (?).
I've never actually checked if this is dependent on being logged in or not.

Not a biggie, my puter shows me if its time for a coffee...

Or a beer/whiskey.

If it doesn't show the correct local time when you are logged in.

Open: 'Access Norton Control Panel' (top left)
>'Board preferences'-'Edit Global Settings'
Adjust 'My timezone' and 'Summer Time/DST is in effect' [Yes/No] settings to your local time
>Submit.

GMT didn't change with Daylight Savings either. I'll be doing the change suggested through the user control panel.

Well I think it should be GMT too so I looked it up. I could change it, but I dont have time right now. Upon look up, UTC is the new GMT. I think I will try and change it sometime though as I prefer GMT.

Seriously -why the negatively :?: :shock:
The Greenwich meridian is the original datum point where ALL the time zones were taken from, you must be one of the few websites where GMT zone is not on there. As I don’t appear to be able to obtain the correct time where I live , in the UK, it’s either one hour too fast or one hour too slow, this is a glaring error to omit GMT
I ask you this question, what would your reaction be if they suddenly started publishing world or globe maps that omit the Americans – I bet quite a few people would be fuming :!: :( :shock:

Greenwich meridian;

I see the right UK time displayed so it would appear you haven't set your timezone correctly (Timezone = UTC/GMT. Summer time /DST is in effect = Yes).

It wasn't omitted, just known as = UTC. However, it seems Jerry has also added "GMT".
