Different cylinder head temperatures

Are the new springs the Bee Hive shape ? What year is your bike ? I have a late 2014 and it has the Bee Hive type springs.
Tony,
My bike is a 2014 machine. And yes as well the old as the new do have a bee hive shape.

Hello again , When did the new springs get introduced ? How many miles on your bike ? I have ~9,300.

My bike has only ~4000 miles. Unfortunately I had driven it myself only 400 miles or so, so I was really disappointed at that moment.
Exchanging wasn’t easy at start but finally good doable.
I didn’t remove the cilinder head for this action. I used compressed air to prevent the valve for falling down in the cilinder. And made myself a tool fitting on the valve from a aluminum tube with acces to the retainer and valve lock. To compress the spring I first tried it with a clamp arround the engine. But just a wooden stick between the frame and my tool did the job easily. To remove the two valve locks I used a magnet and compressed the spring shortly. The magnet does the job. Inserting them back would be easier when you are with two persons.
