I'm sorry, but I searched and didn't find it.
If anyone has a diagram of the cylinder head fasteners by size, I would sure appreciate it. Some are so deep I can't get a good feel for the proper size and I don't want to round them off. I've tried metric and SAE sockets and sometimes neither one seems to fit properly.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
JD75

The hexagon size is 1/4 Whitworth (or 5/16 BSF) = 0.525"/ 13.34mm

Although not perfect, 6 point wrenches and sockets, US and Metric, will get the job done with no harm to the fasteners. The only Whitworth wrench I have is the 1/4 combo 6 point box. I use this for Number 51 shown here. http://www.oldbritts.com/1972_g2.html
I purchased this from RGM specifically for this nut.

As far as proper torque here, well it is a "feel" thing for many fasteners that are simply not too practical for the average joe torque wrench. You have a fair idea from other nuts and bolts. I read someone say, you tighten and then you hear a "click" in the back of your head.
